Dear Teachers,
We would like to thank-you for your interest in www.studentvolunteerlink.com; a website that was developed as a resource for our local community. As you know Student Volunteer LINK (SVL) is a non-profit website and free service that connects local student volunteers with community service opportunities in Branford and surrounding areas.
As a service to High School Clubs, we, at the SVL website, are interested in posting information regarding club membership, officers, mission, fundraisers, and community service projects that your club is involved with in the New Year 2007. Based on the information that your club provides on the questionnaire enclosed, we will be able to create your very own school club page linked to the High School page on Student Volunteer LINK website so that your information will be listed and easily accessed. Once your club page is created, students and the community will be able to log on and find out more about your club’s endeavors.
Because, SVL is a new organization, we are always looking for new ideas and information to highlight youth and their involvement with our community and welcome any comments that you might have. If you know of other clubs that could benefit from this resource or students that would like a leadership role with SVL or that could be nominated for an award, please pass the information along.
