Volunteer Opportunities:
Learning Leaders
Do you have a passion for learning? Do you love reading? Would you like to share your love of learning with children in the 1-5th grade? Join us as we teach the arts and mentor children to excel in school by providing enthusiasm, basic skills and most importantly time to a child.
You will be asked to come once a week for two hours to assist with homework, or to help in class. So if you believe that reading is the key to a happy future for children- then come spend some time with us. We'll feed you snack, count you as one our friends, share our triumphs, and challenges with you. You will be prized and valued as a "learning leader". You must be at least 16. Have respect for children and an enthusiasm about sharing basic reading, math and writing skills. You must be willing to make a once weekly commitment of two hours.
