Sorting Damaged Food Items
Volunteers inspect, sort and pack donations of non-perishable food for distribution to community-based hunger-relief organizations. Requires at least a two-hour shift each visit. Times: Weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Also open until 8:00 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month and open 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the third Saturday of each month. Hours may vary during holiday season. Warehouse is located at 150 Bradley Street, East Haven. Must be able to stand for duration of shift. Should be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

At first traffic light turn right onto Forbes Place (no road sign). Take an immediate left onto Kimberly Ave. At next light, turn left onto High St., stay in the left lane as you go over the bridge. At the light, turn left onto Laurel St. Proceed short distance down Laurel St. After you go under the 1-95 overpass, take the left onto Bradley St. CFB is the first building on the left.
